Detention and Sexual Assault Charges... 20s Male Arrested
A man accused of detaining his girlfriend for three days and sexually assaulting her has been transferred to the prosecution in custody.
According to the police on the 24th, the Gwanak Police Station in Seoul sent a man in his 20s, identified as A, who is suspected of rape and detention, to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office in custody.
A is accused of detaining and sexually assaulting his girlfriend at an undisclosed location in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, from 11:30 PM on the 10th to 4:30 PM on the 12th.
The police responded to a report from the victim and arrested A on the 15th. According to the police, A denied the charges, claiming the sexual intercourse was consensual.
