A man in his 40s attempted to forcibly drag a woman who was taking a walk, marking another such incident.
The Jeonbuk Jeonju Wansan Police Station announced on the 23rd that they have urgently arrested and are investigating a man in his 40s, Mr. A, on charges of forcibly molesting a woman he dragged while she was walking.
Mr. A is accused of grabbing the neck of a woman in her 30s, Ms. B, who was walking along the Sancheonbyeon walking trail in Wansan-gu, Jeonju-si, around midnight, and dragging her into the bushes.
Ms. B strongly resisted, escaped from the bushes, and immediately reported the incident to 112.
The police investigating the case reviewed nearby CCTV footage, located Mr. A, and urgently arrested him around 2 p.m.
