Group BTS made history as all members entered the US Billboard chart 'Hot 100' with their solo songs.
According to the latest chart (dated August 26) released by the US music media Billboard on the 22nd (local time), Jungkook's "Seven" (feat. Latto) topped the 'Global 200' and 'Global Excl. US' charts once again. Jungkook is the first Korean solo artist to hold the No. 1 spot on these charts for five consecutive weeks.
Billboard explained, "'Seven' recorded 104.3 million streams on the 'Global 200' and 95.1 million streams on the 'Global Excl. US' chart, securing the No. 1 position for five consecutive weeks."
On Billboard's main song chart, the 'Hot 100,' Jungkook's "Seven" ranked 30th, marking its fifth consecutive week on the chart. V's first solo album 'Layover,' set to be released on September 8, features the pre-released track "Love Me Again," which debuted at No. 96 on the chart on August 11.
Previously, V had entered the 'Hot 100' at No. 79 on the January 8, 2022 chart with the OST "Christmas Tree" from the SBS drama 'Our Beloved Summer,' making this his second entry on the 'Hot 100' as a solo artist.
Through this, BTS became the first group whose all members have entered the 'Hot 100' with solo songs. BTS had already charted on the 'Hot 100' with group songs, collaborations with various artists, features, and OST participations.
V's "Love Me Again" ranked No. 1 on the 'World Digital Song Sales,' No. 3 on 'Digital Song Sales,' No. 6 on 'Global Excl. US,' and No. 12 on the 'Global 200.' Another pre-released track, "Rainy Days," ranked No. 4 on 'Digital Song Sales,' No. 8 on 'Global Excl. US,' and No. 16 on the 'Global 200.'
Additionally, Jimin's solo album 'FACE' title track "Like Crazy" re-entered the 'World Digital Song Sales' chart at No. 9. It ranked No. 31 on 'Global Excl. US' and No. 53 on the 'Global 200,' charting for 21 consecutive weeks. 'FACE' also ranked No. 8 on the 'World Albums' chart.
