Leader Training Conducted for Over 50 Volunteer Organization Leaders on the 17th
Event Held to Foster Mutual Cooperation Between Volunteer Organizations and the Volunteer Center
Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) held the Seongbuk-gu Volunteer Organization Leader Training titled 'Seongbuk-gu Volunteer, What Are You Doing? Want to Join Us!!' on the 17th at the 4th floor Seongbuk Art Hall of Seongbuk-gu Office, targeting over 50 volunteer organization leaders.
This training was organized to revitalize volunteering in Seongbuk-gu through mutual cooperation between volunteer organizations and the Volunteer Center, and proceeded in the order of ▲Introduction of volunteer organizations ▲2023 progress report ▲Activity support guidance ▲Leader training.
The training invited instructor Kwon Mi-young (former Director of the Korea Central Volunteer Center) to conduct a session on 'How to revitalize volunteer activities of organizations stagnated due to COVID-19 by understanding what volunteer activities are happening around us and how we should cooperate.'
Jang Gong-im, Chairperson of the Seongbuk Pigeon Volunteer Group, said, “Although we haven't met often, I realized everyone is working hard volunteering. It would be great to cooperate and volunteer together, and I hope we can meet more frequently.”
