Changwon Special City, Full Effort for the 2023 Eulji Exercise to Strengthen National Security
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam Province began a 3-night, 4-day Eulji Exercise emergency mobilization for all employees on the 21st to establish a robust national security response posture.
On the same day, at the city hall Eulji Exercise venue, over 150 officials including heads of departments and bureaus of Changwon Special City, as well as representatives from civilian, government, military, and police sectors, attended the '2023 Eulji Exercise Initial Situation Report Meeting' chaired by Mayor Hong Nam-pyo.

View original imageThe report meeting, as an extension of crisis management exercises conducted prior to wartime crisis response, marked the start of wartime transition and total national mobilization exercises. The meeting included presentations on key wartime issues and discussions on comprehensive medical support measures for casualties resulting from drone missile attacks on civilian residential facilities.
Mayor Hong emphasized, "Please conduct this Eulji Exercise as if it were a real situation to establish a close cooperation system among civilian, government, military, and police sectors, and do your best to ensure that the exercise is substantial and practically helpful for citizen safety."
