Sweat and Effort in Transporting Emergency Patients Using Patrol Ships and Coastal Rescue Boats
Mokpo Coast Guard Station (Chief Kim Hae-cheol) worked hard to transport three emergency patients from island villages over the weekend holidays.
According to Mokpo Coast Guard on the 21st, at around 1:30 PM on the 20th, emergency patient A (in his 50s) with a leg fracture was quickly transported from Sanggando, Sinan County to the mainland via a patrol boat.
Later that day at 7:14 PM, patient B (female, in her 50s), suspected of having a stroke, was safely handed over to the 119 ambulance team at Namgang Pier by coordinating a patrol boat and a coastal rescue boat in Heuksando, Sinan County.
Earlier, at 9:26 PM on the 19th, patient C (female, in her 60s), suspected of having urinary stones and complaining of bladder pain, was transported to Seomang Port in Jindo County via a coastal rescue boat from Gasado, Jindo County.
