WON Universe Advances Development of Digital Therapeutics for Vision Correction
Metaverse specialist developer Won Universe announced on the 21st that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Bi & Bit Gangnam Bright World Eye Clinic to develop a digital therapeutic for vision correction. Along with this, they are also promoting the development of a medical metaverse platform.
Through this MOU, the two organizations plan to proceed with ▲ development of a digital therapeutic for vision correction ▲ development of a medical metaverse platform ▲ composition of related treatment programs ▲ joint research and discovery of cooperative projects for these purposes.
Since its opening in 1994, Bi & Bit Gangnam Bright World Eye Clinic has developed and utilized an AI (artificial intelligence) vision correction program based on 500,000 cases of vision correction surgery data accumulated over the years. This program embeds the examiner’s test data as big data through machine learning, recommending the optimal surgical method by simulating tens of thousands of times.
Won Universe will further strengthen its digital therapeutic and medical metaverse sectors through this agreement. Last year, it conducted mutual investments with medical tech company Leading Labs and is currently developing metaverse models applicable in the medical field such as remote consultations and virtual surgeries. Through continuous collaboration on metaverse platform development with the medical industry sectors including diet, plastic surgery, and ophthalmology, it is leading the medical metaverse domain.
