Foreign Currency Recharge and Payment in 38 Countries... Launch of 'Travel Wallet Woori Card'
Automatic Conversion to Credit When Using Recharge Balance
Woori Card is partnering with the leading domestic foreign currency recharge and payment service platform 'Travel Wallet' to launch a Private Label Credit Card (PLCC).
Woori Card announced on the 21st that it has launched the 'Travel Wallet Woori Card.'
This product integrates credit card functionality into the existing prepaid service provided by Travel Wallet. When used overseas, the pre-charged Travel Pay balance is deducted first, and if the balance is insufficient, it automatically switches to credit for postpaid payment.
Users can earn 1% Travel Points on domestic spending and 2% on overseas spending. Both prepaid and credit payments are exempt from the 1.1% Visa brand usage fee and the 0.3% foreign transaction fee. There are no limits on Travel Pay payment limits or linked accounts. Currency exchange is available in 38 countries worldwide.
The annual fee is 20,000 KRW for overseas use only. Detailed benefits can be checked on the Woori Card website and the Woori WON Card application (app).
