Missing Bongcheon-dong High School Girl Found in Yeongdeungpo-gu Four Days After Report
A first-year high school student, Kim Ji-hye (15), who went missing after leaving for school, was found four days after a missing person report was filed.
The Gwanak Police Station in Seoul announced on the 21st at around 6:30 a.m. that Kim was found in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. A police official stated, "(Kim) was found safely."
Kim disappeared after leaving her residence in Bongcheon-dong, Gwanak-gu on the morning of the 17th, and since she neither went to school nor returned home, a missing person report was filed with the police.
The police disclosed Kim's photo and personal information on the Child, Women, and Disabled Police Support Center's Safe Dream website and deployed three teams, including the missing persons investigation team and the violent crimes team, to search for her.
