"Dreams Bigger Than the Sea" HMM Resumes Children's Merchant Ship Experience After 3 Years
On the 17th, the national shipping company HMM invited 16 elementary school students to Busan New Port for a children's merchant ship experience event. This event, which allows children interested in the sea and ships to experience merchant ships that are usually difficult to access, resumed after three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The students visited the HMM Terminal at Busan New Port and toured the site where ultra-large vessels and numerous containers are moved. They also visited the HMM Ocean Service Training Center, a ship management subsidiary, to try ship navigation simulations. A company official said, "We hope children will have diverse interests and dreams."
