Discussion on Progress Report and Performance Improvement Plans
Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk Province (Governor Oh Do-chang) held the first progress report meeting on the 2024 Government Joint (City/County) Evaluation on August 17th in the small conference room of the county office, presided over by Deputy Governor Park Jun-ro.

View original imageThis report meeting was organized to seek ways to improve performance by having all department heads responsible for the indicators attend and focus on reviewing the progress so far and the reasons for underperformance.
The meeting proceeded in the order of an explanation of the evaluation overview, reports on departmental implementation plans, and a general summary by the deputy governor.
At this meeting, Yeongyang-gun plans to intensively manage underperforming indicators based on the current performance status and achievement targets reported by each department head, benchmark outstanding cities/counties in the evaluation, and receive consulting from Gyeongsangbuk-do to improve evaluation results.
Deputy Governor Park Jun-ro of Yeongyang stated, “Since the government joint evaluation indicators are standards directly related to enhancing the convenience and welfare of the residents, I hope everyone will strive to achieve them as much as possible for the happiness of our citizens.”
