Pukyong National University Selected for 'Graduate School Trade Technical Barriers Intensive Lecture Support Project'
Pukyong National University has been selected for the Korea Standards Association's '2023 Graduate School Trade Technical Barriers (TBT) Intensive Lecture Support Project.'
This project aims to support the establishment of intensive lectures related to trade technical barriers in graduate schools to cultivate talent equipped with the knowledge and capabilities to help domestic companies respond to trade technical barriers.
The major course "FTA International Trade Theory" offered by the Department of International Trade and Logistics at Pukyong National University Graduate School has been selected for this project and will receive approximately 10 million KRW in funding. The university will use the support funds to train professionals capable of responding to the rapidly changing international trade environment.

Professor Jeongho Yoo, who is in charge of the course, stated, "As the protectionist nature of international trade is strengthening, the need to respond to TBT, a representative non-tariff barrier, is expanding. I believe this project will be a great opportunity to further enhance students' international capabilities by developing their field sense and analytical skills."
