Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority Promotes Basic Plan Establishment Service for Parks and Green Spaces in Songdo District 11
The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority announced on the 17th that it plans to commission the "Basic Plan and Detailed Design Service for Parks and Green Spaces" in Songdo District 11, where reclamation of public waters is underway.
The service will establish the basic direction and conceptual plan for the parks and green spaces planned within Songdo International City District 11 (Advanced Industrial Cluster Development Project Area), develop park creation plans and detailed designs for the first neighborhood park, and estimate the costs for the park and green space development projects.
The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority plans to select a service provider and begin the project around the end of next month, aiming to complete it by September 2025. According to the development plan, Songdo District 11, covering 6.92 million square meters, will have a total of 1.79 million square meters of parks and green spaces, including 29 parks covering 1.59 million square meters and 19 green spaces covering 200,000 square meters.

Kim Jin-yong, head of the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, stated, "We will diligently carry out the service to establish an efficient and well-organized spatial plan for the parks and green spaces in District 11, where reclamation is currently underway."
