Gokseong Youth Culture Voucher Affiliate Store Recruitment Underway

Adolescents Aged 13 to 18, Targeting Middle and High School Students in the District

Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Lee Sang-cheol) announced that it is intensively recruiting affiliated stores ahead of the implementation of the ‘Gokseong-gun Youth Culture Voucher Support’ project.

The ‘Gokseong-gun Youth Culture Voucher Support’ project is a happiness pledge project of Lee Sang-cheol, the governor of Gokseong-gun, during the 8th local government term. It supports youth aged 13 to 18 who have been registered residents of Gokseong-gun for more than three months as of the application date, as well as middle and high school students within the district, by providing 200,000 KRW worth of cultural voucher points annually on a prepaid card to guarantee basic rights and promote cultural welfare for youth.

The county started recruiting affiliated stores year-round from August 16, ahead of the project launch in September 2023, and especially set a focused recruitment period from August 16 to August 23 to accelerate the recruitment of affiliated stores so that the voucher cards can be smoothly used in various places.

The target affiliates are businesses within Gokseong-gun equipped with card payment systems suitable for youth to enjoy culture and healthy lifestyles, such as movie theaters, swimming pools, gyms, bookstores, hair salons, stationery stores, and optician shops.

Applications for affiliation can be submitted to the eup/myeon offices with the required documents, and registered affiliated stores will be issued a Gokseong-gun Youth Culture Voucher affiliated store sticker.

A county official said, “We will do our best to recruit affiliated stores in various fields so that the youth of Gokseong can enjoy a happier life through cultural experiences.”
