A-Root Launches New Order Tablet Model... "Sales Expansion"
A-Route is set to expand sales and achieve additional performance growth through the launch of new products in the second half of the year, focusing on its existing printer business. On the 16th, A-Route announced the release of a new order tablet, the ‘SPAD’, which features an unmanned ordering system.
A-Route plans to launch this product to respond to the table order market, which has emerged as an alternative to rapidly increasing labor costs amid the non-face-to-face and unmanned trends following COVID-19. Based on its existing POS printer technology, A-Route developed this order tablet product to be compatible with table order solutions.
A-Route expects that franchise owners using the new SPAD will be able to reduce labor costs, enjoy high ordering convenience, and prevent order omissions. Additionally, the SPAD can be used for advertising and delivering various information, enabling additional revenue generation through advertisements even when not used for ordering purposes. The company also anticipates that it will be applicable not only to the food service industry but also to businesses based on offline stores, such as the lodging industry.
An A-Route representative said, “As people have become accustomed to non-face-to-face interactions and the labor shortage in the food service industry has intensified recently, table order tablets capable of unmanned ordering are gaining attention,” adding, “We expect sales to expand in the second half of the year based on the new order tablet SPAD.”
He continued, “In addition, we will accelerate performance growth in the printer business sector through the development of various new products such as POS printers and label printers,” and added, “We will establish the foundation for new businesses based on stable sales in our core business sector.”
