Lotte's Shin Dong-bin Earns Over 11.2 Billion Won in First Half Salary
Shinsegae Family Fortune Exceeds 8.2 Billion Won
Shin Dong-bin, Chairman of Lotte Group, received a total compensation of 11.254 billion KRW from Lotte Holdings and six affiliates in the first half of this year. This is about 1 billion KRW more than the 10.285 billion KRW he received in the first half of last year.
According to the semi-annual reports disclosed by these companies on the 14th, Chairman Shin received 4.533 billion KRW from Lotte Holdings in the first half. Of this, 1.915 billion KRW was salary and 2.617 billion KRW was bonus. He received 1.105 billion KRW from Lotte Shopping and 1.915 billion KRW from Lotte Chemical. Additionally, he received 1.061 billion KRW from Hotel Lotte, 1.025 billion KRW from Lotte Wellfood, 1.07 billion KRW from Lotte Chilsung Beverage, and 545 million KRW from Lotte Property & Development.

The Shinsegae family received a total of 8.222 billion KRW in the first half. Lee Myung-hee, Chairwoman of Shinsegae Group, received a total of 2.334 billion KRW, including 859 million KRW from Shinsegae and 1.475 billion KRW from E-Mart. Her husband, Chung Jae-eun, Honorary Chairman of Shinsegae Group, also received the same amount of compensation from the two companies. Chung Yong-jin, Vice Chairman of Shinsegae Group, received 1.78 billion KRW from E-Mart, and Chung Yoo-kyung, General Manager of Shinsegae, received 1.774 billion KRW from Shinsegae, respectively.
