Police: "Seoicho Teacher Has No Call Records with Parents on Personal Mobile Phone"
No Criminal Suspicions Detected Yet
On the 18th of last month, a teacher at Seoi Elementary School in Seocho-gu, Seoul, who took their own life on campus, was found to have no incoming calls from parents on their personal mobile phone after an analysis of the call records.

A Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency official stated at a press briefing on the 14th, “There is no record of parents calling the deceased on their personal mobile phone,” and added, “About four parents have been investigated. (So far) no one has been booked.”
Regarding whether parents verbally abused the teacher, the police explained, “We are investigating that aspect, but nothing specific has been confirmed yet,” and added, “No part has been found that could be considered a criminal offense.”
According to the police, there were several calls between Mr./Ms. A and parents on the 12th, when the so-called 'pencil incident' occurred, and the following day, the 13th. This incident involved a student in the deceased’s class drawing on another student’s forehead with a pencil, and there have been allegations that the deceased was subjected to continuous complaints from the parent involved.
