Dong-Eui Institute of Technology Receives 'Highest Grade' in Work-Learning Dual System Performance Evaluation for Current Junior College Students
Dong-Eui Science University received the highest S grade in the '2022 Performance Evaluation of the Work-Learning Dual System Joint Training Center for College Students at the Junior College Level.'
The Work-Learning Dual System project for junior college students is an educational training system where final-year junior college students gain early employment and simultaneously undergo education and training at both the university and the company. This system helps students develop practical skills based on theoretical knowledge and trains them to become talent needed by companies.
Dong-Eui Science University was selected as a Work-Learning Dual System project group for junior college students in 2020 and is currently operating the program in four departments: Hair Beauty, Electric Vehicle, Hotel and Food Service Cooking, and Social Welfare. The project involves 25 companies and 50 students.
Kim Chang-dong, Director of the Work-Learning Dual System Joint Training Center at Dong-Eui Science University, stated, “The Work-Learning Dual System project for junior college students plays a significant role in creating a virtuous ecosystem where companies, students, and universities can coexist and prosper.”
