LH "Additional Emergency Inspections Conducted on 10 Complexes with Muryangpan Structures"
Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced that it will conduct an emergency inspection of 10 additional flat slab structure complexes starting from the 9th.
Following the collapse of the underground parking lot in Incheon Geomdan, LH urgently conducted a full internal survey of flat slab structure complexes and is currently carrying out reinforcement work on 15 complexes.
Subsequently, while conducting a detailed inspection of LH flat slab complexes along with the government's full survey of private apartments, 10 additional complexes with flat slab structures applied to underground parking lots were identified.
Among the total 10 complexes, △ 3 are not yet started, △ 4 are under construction, and △ 3 are completed. There are 1,871 sale housing units and 5,296 rental housing units, totaling 7,167 units.
For the 10 complexes, LH plans to verify the structural design suitability for complexes before construction and conduct additional detailed safety inspections for those under construction.
If complexes with missing rebar are discovered, LH will immediately proceed with design changes and repair work after consulting with residents, and transparently disclose the progress.
