Governor Kim Dong-yeon met with artists who received the first Artist Opportunity Income last month and explained the policy background: "We selected artists as the first recipients of the opportunity income, which is intended for those who create significant value in society but are not adequately compensated. Receiving the Artist Opportunity Income for a certain period will allow them to engage in creative artistic activities, and the resulting social value will be a great opportunity for residents to enjoy together."
