Gwangjin-gu Opens Water Playground at Guui Park
In Response to the Hot Summer Vacation... Water Playground Established at Guui Park Children's Playground
Various Play Facilities such as Water Drop and Water Tunnel Provided... Free for Everyone
Open Until the 20th of This Month Including Weekends, Safety Personnel Deployed to Prevent Accidents
Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) has created the 'Guui Park Water Playground,' an urban play space, in celebration of the summer vacation.
As the heatwave continues day after day, more visitors are coming to the water playground. In response, the district installed water play facilities so that students on summer vacation can enjoy cool playtime with their families and neighbors close to the city.
The location is the Guui Park Children's Playground (86 Gwangnaru-ro 56-gil), a rest area frequently used by many residents. It is also conveniently close to Gangbyeon Station and Dong Seoul Terminal, making it easily accessible by public transportation.
Unique play facilities for children have been provided here. Various attractions such as Water Drop, Water Tunnel, and Water Shower, which spray cool water here and there, capture the attention of children. The water depth is less than 20cm, making it safe for toddlers to use as well.
Various auxiliary facilities are also available. Separate changing rooms for men and women have been set up to enhance user convenience, and shade tents have been installed intermittently to allow rest during water play.
Additionally, professionally trained safety personnel have been deployed to thoroughly prevent accidents.
The water playground will operate until the 20th of this month. Admission is free, and it is open daily from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. To prevent safety accidents, it operates from the hour to 40 minutes past, followed by a 20-minute break.
