SK On has revamped its YouTube channel and strengthened online communication.
On the 7th, SK On announced that it had selected the new channel name 'SK On-air' and completely redesigned its YouTube channel, including the design and categories.
The new channel name, SK On-air, signifies SK On’s YouTube channel that is 'always awake,' showcasing various content and expanding communication with stakeholders.
Recently, SK On held a participatory event allowing users to propose names for the SK On channel. Over a month, more than 920 people submitted over 1,000 channel name ideas. SK On carefully evaluated four shortlisted candidates selected for their excellent ideas and finalized the channel name as SK On-air this month.
During this revamp, SK On also newly organized thematic categories according to the nature of the content. These include 'NOW PLAY SK On,' introducing official SK On promotional videos; 'Global On-air,' covering videos of global business site activities; 'WATCH Now,' focusing on internal activity videos such as employee interviews; and 'Popcorn Play,' showcasing collaborative works with famous influencers.
Since launching its YouTube channel in March last year, SK On has released numerous video contents including SK On brand films, corporate culture introductions featuring famous influencers, and global business presentations. Currently, the most viewed content on the SK On YouTube channel is the collaboration video with dance crew JustJerk titled 'One Dance, One Spirit / Seoul to New York,' which has surpassed 2.31 million views.
As of this day, the number of subscribers exceeds 54,700. The total accumulated views have surpassed 7.9 million. This is an achievement reached within 1 year and 5 months since the channel’s launch.
