Consultations on Establishing Jangheung-gun Agricultural Specialty Products Sales Centers in 3 Countries
Jangheung-gun, Jeollanam-do achieved $2 million export agreements and $350,000 contract signings through the 'Overseas Buyer Invitation Export Consultation Meeting.'
According to the county on the 4th, on the 1st and 2nd, buyers from eight countries worldwide, including the United States, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Vietnam, India, China, and Russia, were invited to hold the export consultation meeting.
Jangheung-gun signed export agreements worth 2 million dollars and contracts worth 350,000 dollars through the "Overseas Buyer Invitation Export Consultation Meeting."

This export consultation meeting was organized proactively to secure export channels, judging that sales of agricultural specialty products are limited by domestic demand alone.
Jeollanam-do (International Cooperation Office) and Jeongnamjin Jangheung Direct Transaction Support Center (Chairman Moon Sang-young) also actively participated in the export consultation meeting, conducting one-on-one customized company consultations and visits to participating companies' workplaces (8 locations).
The event was well organized, including an information exchange venue through a welcome dinner, receiving positive responses from overseas buyers and companies.
As a result, export business agreements worth $2 million were signed with five countries (United States, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, China, Russia), and export contracts worth $350,000 were achieved with six countries.
In three countries?Russia, China, and South Africa?discussions were held to establish sales booths for Jangheung-gun agricultural specialty products.
Jangheung-gun awarded the Honorary Citizen Plaque to Nguyen Thi Nhut Quyen, CEO of Mai Quyen Trading, who contributed to opening the 'Jangheung Agricultural Specialty Products Sales Center' in Vietnam and to the export agreement.
Director Lee Jeong-han of Jangheung Integrated Medical Hospital, who served as a bridge for exports to Vietnam, received a commendation plaque from the Jangheung-gun governor, and a donation ceremony for helping neighbors in need by the participating company Migawon (CEO Kim Kwang-gon) with 100 boxes of ramen was also held, adding significance to the event.
