President Jung Young-chae Joins Drug Eradication 'No-Exit' Campaign
Jung Young-chae, CEO of NH Investment & Securities, joins the campaign to eradicate drugs.
NH Investment & Securities announced on the 4th that CEO Jung Young-chae has participated in the drug eradication campaign. Jung Young-chae joined the campaign after being nominated by Cho Kyung-mok, CEO of SK Energy.
The campaign is a nationwide preventive initiative conducted by the National Police Agency and the Drug Eradication Movement Headquarters to raise awareness about the seriousness of drugs and to prevent drug-related crimes in advance.
As the severity of drug issues has recently increased in Korea, the campaign aims to alert the entire nation to the dangers of drugs and prevent addiction, which can trap users like a maze the moment they take drugs. Veteran actor Choi Bul-am started as the first participant. Since then, various public figures have posted messages about the drug prevention campaign through photos and social media, nominating the next participants in turn.
CEO Jung Young-chae recommended Kang Seok-hoon, representative lawyer of the law firm Yulchon, and Hwang Jun-ho, CEO of Daol Investment & Securities, as the next participants. Jung said, "Through this campaign, I hope the public will recognize the dangers and seriousness of drugs, which have recently become a social issue, and take an interest in eradicating drugs. All members of NH Investment & Securities will actively strive to fulfill the company's social responsibility to create a safe society."
