Samsung Electronics announced on the 3rd that its Samsung Wind-Free Air Conditioner has surpassed 9 million units in cumulative sales in the domestic market. Since the launch of the Wind-Free Air Conditioner in 2016, approximately 3,300 units have been sold daily for over seven years.
Since launching the world's first Wind-Free Air Conditioner in 2016, Samsung Electronics has continuously evolved its technology and performance every year. In 2023, it expanded consumer choices by releasing the window-type air conditioner 'Bespoke Wind-Free Air Conditioner Window Fit,' the new-concept home multi-product 'Bespoke Wind-Free Air Conditioner Fit Home,' and the 'Bespoke Wind-Free System Air Conditioner Infinite Line.'

In particular, this year, the sales proportion of energy efficiency grade 1 models among home-use Wind-Free Air Conditioners exceeded half. The 2023 model 'Bespoke Wind-Free Air Conditioner Gallery' achieved energy efficiency grades 1 and 2 across all models and also launched an energy-saving model with cooling efficiency 10% higher than the minimum standard for energy efficiency grade 1. The 'Bespoke Wind-Free Air Conditioner Window Fit' and home-use 'Wind-Free System Air Conditioner' also have all models rated energy efficiency grade 1.
