Busan Mayor Park Hyung-jun Participates in 'Seafood Consumption and Fishing Village Vacation Promotion Campaign'
On the 2nd, Park Hyung-jun, Mayor of Busan, participated in the ‘Seafood Consumption and Fishing Village Vacation Promotion Campaign’ at the International Protocol Room of City Hall.
This campaign was conducted on July 26th by the People Power Party’s National Assembly member Seong Il-jong, who is the chair of the ‘Our Sea Protection Verification Task Force (TF),’ together with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries to encourage fishing village vacations and promote the consumption of domestic seafood ahead of the summer vacation season.
The campaign proceeds by each participant nominating the next participant with the slogans ‘Summer vacation to fishing villages and the sea’ and ‘Summer health food with our seafood,’ while sending seafood as a gift.
Mayor Park Hyung-jun was nominated by People Power Party National Assembly member Ahn Byung-gil, and on this day, he nominated Ha Yoon-su, Superintendent of Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, who is responsible for the dietary habits and health of the next generation youth, and Ahn Seong-min, Chairperson of the Busan Metropolitan Council, which serves as an open communication platform, as the next participants.
