A man suspected of using drugs in broad daylight was urgently arrested by the police.
According to the police on the 1st, the Gangdong Police Station in Seoul urgently arrested Mr. A on the afternoon of the 30th of last month around 1 p.m. on suspicion of violating the Narcotics Control Act and is currently investigating him.
According to the police, Mr. A is suspected of using drugs at his residence in Gyeonggi-do on the 29th of last month.
Mr. A drove a vehicle to a restaurant in Cheonho-dong, Gangdong-gu around 1 p.m. the next day and was arrested by police who responded to a report of "a person staggering and unable to control their body." At the time, Mr. A reportedly responded that "it is due to panic disorder."
The police found and seized disposable syringes used for drug use from the storage compartment of Mr. A's driver's seat. Mr. A admitted to the drug use charges but has refused to submit evidence such as hair and urine samples.
