Overheated Stock Designation Period Extended... Short Selling Ban Also Applies on the 28th
The Korea Exchange KOSDAQ Market Headquarters announced on the 27th that it will extend the designation period of Ecopro BM as a short-selling overheated stock, banning short-selling transactions until the 28th.
Accordingly, short-selling transactions of Ecopro BM will be prohibited in both the regular market and the after-hours market on the 28th.
The extension of the short-selling ban period was made as Ecopro BM's stock price fell more than 5% on the day. Ecopro BM closed the day down 17.25% at 376,500 won.
