Gyeongnam Province Offers 10% Early Discount on 400 Million KRW 'Gyeongnam e-Ji' Gift Certificates
Up to 300,000 KRW Purchase Per Person Per Month, Maximum 30,000 KRW Benefit
Gyeongsangnam-do is issuing an online-only gift certificate called ‘Gyeongnam e-Ji’ worth 400 million KRW and supporting a 10% upfront discount sale to coincide with the summer vacation season.
The province announced that it is promoting the discounted issuance to revitalize consumption, which has been depressed due to the prolonged economic downturn, and to boost sales by encouraging the consumption of products made by small business owners within the province.
According to the province, Gyeongnam e-Ji will be sold from 9 a.m. on the 28th until 6 p.m. on August 15.
Individuals can purchase up to 300,000 KRW per month and receive a maximum discount benefit of 30,000 KRW per month.
The gift certificates can be purchased through mobile gift certificate apps that support online gift certificate purchases, such as NongHyup, Gyeongnam Bank, Gyeongnam Sarang Gift Certificate, and BibZeroPay.
The purchased Gyeongnam e-Ji can be used at provincial and city/county online shopping malls and city/county public delivery apps that sell local agricultural and livestock products and specialties.
The provincial and city/county online shopping malls include eight locations: eGyeongnam Mall, Jinju Dream Shopping Mall, Tongyeong Mall, Tongyeong Jangpirang, Gimhae On Mall, Haman Mall, Dinosaur Country Shopping Mall, and San-encheong.
The city/county public delivery apps include four: Changwon’s Nubigo, Jinju’s Baedal-ui Jinju, Gimhae’s Meokkebi, and Wemakeprice O (WMP O) for Tongyeong and Miryang.
