Samsung Electronics, while expanding its premium TV strategy, announced that it will continue to create the ultra-large, ultra-high-end premium market by expanding its lineup of ultra-large OLED TVs with 83- and 77-inch models this year.
On the 27th, during a conference call following the announcement of its Q2 earnings, Samsung Electronics stated, "Although the global TV market is stagnant, we expect demand for premium products to remain solid," adding, "We aim to diversify our premium lineup to offer consumers a variety of choices."

Specifically, the company said, "In the second half of the year, we plan to strengthen the competitiveness of Neo QLED, which is at the core of our premium lineup," and added, "As OLED received positive reviews last year with 65- and 55-inch models, this year we will add ultra-large models such as 83- and 77-inch." Furthermore, it stated, "In addition to the existing Neo QLED products, we will introduce QLED lineup including 8K for the 98-inch model, and for Micro LED, we will reinforce the lineup with 89-inch models alongside the 110-inch, continuing to create the ultra-large and ultra-high-end premium market."
