Homeplus announced on the 25th that it has planned a total of over 60,000 courses for this fall semester, with a particular focus on programs targeting the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z), who make up the majority of enrolled members. As of this summer semester, MZ generation members accounted for 87% of the Homeplus Culture Center’s membership, with the number of MZ members increasing by 19% compared to last summer semester. It was explained that the number of MZ generation members has been steadily rising over the past year.
Homeplus has expanded its infant and toddler courses for the "young parenting group." They considered that infants under one year old have been visiting the Culture Center more frequently than in previous years, and toddlers mainly use the Culture Center after daycare or kindergarten. Based on an analysis of preferred time slots by infant age, they prepared a "Bebe class" for infants under one year old and an "After daycare class" held after 4 p.m.
With the increase in demand for outdoor activities following the endemic phase of infectious diseases, unique courses for the whole family to enjoy together have also been planned. The autumn-themed book concert "Book & Story Festival" allows family customers to read fairy tale books together and experience programs related to the stories. Examples include "Cinderella Princess Ballet & Pumpkin Carriage Decorating" and "Building a Strong Brick House for the Three Little Pigs."
There are also collaboration courses with various brands. Reflecting recent trends of "home drinking" and "home cooking," classes such as the "Pernod Ricard Korea Highball Cocktail Class" and "Beer Yoga Class with Kelly Beer" have been prepared. Participants can also experience the "U.S. Meat Export Federation Pork Back Ribs Cooking Class," "Sunjin Pork European Home Cooking Class," and "Hangang Food Chicken Cooking Class." In line with the home caf? trend during the high inflation era, the "Home Caf? Coffee Class with Hollys" will be offered at 20 locations.
Due to the recent craze for various dance covers and challenges, the number of customers seeking dance classes has increased. Courses that cater to the tastes of members of various age groups, such as "Dynamic Hip Line Dance," "Shape Up Body Diet Dance," and "Swing Social Dance Together," will also be conducted.
