‘Cheongsong Sarang Currency’, Monthly Purchase Limit Changed from 1 Million Won to 700,000 Won per Person
Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, will change the monthly purchase limit per person for the 'Cheongsong Love Currency,' which is driving the revitalization of the local economy, to 700,000 KRW starting August 1.
The county has decided to lower the monthly purchase limit per person for the Cheongsong Love Currency, which is being issued in the amount of 70 billion KRW in 2023 to invigorate the local economy and stimulate consumption, from the existing 1 million KRW to 700,000 KRW.
This change is being implemented in accordance with the revised comprehensive guidelines for the Local Love Gift Certificate Issuance Support Project by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety in 2023. After a promotional period, the county plans to apply the changed purchase limit starting August 1.

County Governor Yoon Kyung-hee stated, “Since some inconvenience to users is expected due to the change in the monthly purchase limit per person for the Cheongsong Love Currency, we plan to minimize inconvenience to residents through continuous promotion,” and added, “We ask for active cooperation from Cheongsong Love Currency users in accordance with the changed government policy.”
