The '2023 Changwon Special City Citizens' Harmony One Mind Sports Festival,' a major event for amateur athletes in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, was held successfully on the 22nd at Masan Gymnasium, with over 2,500 amateur sports enthusiasts in attendance.

Approximately 10,000 enthusiasts participated in 40 sports disciplines including tennis, table tennis, and badminton, showcasing their skills over two days, the 22nd and 23rd, at Masan Gymnasium and various venues for each sport.
As a prelude to the opening ceremony, demonstration performances such as dance shows celebrating the sports festival, fusion gugak (traditional Korean music), and saxophone performances were held. The official ceremony proceeded with awards for contributors to sports development, guest speeches, athlete representatives' oath-taking, and citizen cheering performances, warmly welcomed by amateur sports enthusiasts and citizens alike.
