CJ CheilJedang and Foodvill Provide Ready Meals, Snacks, and Bread
CJ announced on the 19th that it will donate 500 million KRW in relief funds to support victims affected by the nationwide heavy rains and to aid in recovery efforts.
The relief funds will be delivered through the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association and will be used for flood damage recovery, providing relief supplies to victims, and supporting emergency housing facilities.
Major CJ affiliates have also joined efforts to help residents in affected areas by providing relief supplies. CJ CheilJedang plans to donate around 2,000 relief items, mainly home meal replacements and snacks such as Hetbahn, Hetbahn Cupbap, Bibigo soup dishes, and Matbam, primarily to Nonsan City. CJ Foodville will deliver over 6,500 Tous Les Jours bread products to 10 cities and counties affected by the heavy rains and to soldiers of the Daegu 2nd Operations Command participating in flood recovery operations.
CJ will prioritize delivering relief supplies to areas with significant damage and will continuously monitor the situation to consider additional support.
