LS Group Donates 500 Million KRW for Flood Recovery Aid
On the 18th, LS Group donated 500 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea to support recovery efforts from the heavy rain damage.
Six affiliates, including LS Cable & System, LS Electric, LS MnM, LS Mtron, E1, and Yesco Holdings, participated in the donation. LS’s contribution will mainly be used for the rapid recovery of communities nationwide severely affected by the heavy rain and for supporting disaster victims.
An LS representative said, “As a member of the community, we empathize with the pain of the affected regions and families,” adding, “We hope that those affected by the unprecedented heavy rain overcome this crisis and return to their daily lives as soon as possible.”

Based on its management philosophy, LS Partnership, LS has continuously engaged in donation activities during domestic and international disasters, including the recovery from the Gangneung wildfire in April this year, the earthquake damage in Turkey in February, the wildfire damage in Donghae City last year, and the flood recovery from the heavy rain in the central region.
