Gochang-gun Installs 'Eco-Friendly Landscape Lighting' at Gushipo Beach

Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 17th that it has installed eco-friendly landscape lighting in line with the opening of Gushipo Beach.

The newly installed eco-friendly landscape lighting features various images representing Gochang's local specialties such as watermelon, bokbunja (Korean black raspberry), clams, and eel, creating a beautiful scenery.

The landscape lighting operates from 7 PM to midnight, allowing visitors to enjoy the beautiful lighting display following the famous sunset of Gushipo.

The project was promoted as part of the Gushipo Ocean New Deal initiative, providing another attraction at Gushipo Beach alongside the beach eco-plant.

Seo Chigeun, head of the Marine and Fisheries Department of the county, said, “We hope that residents and tourists visiting Gushipo Beach will create beautiful memories through the eco-friendly landscape lighting,” and added, “We will assess tourist responses and consider adding more lighting in the pension complex next year.”
