ToBeSoft Enhances Entertainment Content Competitiveness with AI-Based Choreography Recognition Technology
ToBeSoft (CEO Lee Kyung-chan) signed a business agreement on the 13th at ToBeSoft headquarters to strengthen competitiveness in entertainment content with ToBeMeta, Music Monster, and others.
ToBeSoft exclusively possesses an advanced 'AI-based choreography recognition technology,' which is an enhanced version of OpenPose, one of the 'Human Pose Estimation' technologies. This AI-based choreography recognition technology is applied to 'ClubMeta,' a dance platform operated by ToBeMeta.
ClubMeta is a popular platform where users upload cover dance videos performed after watching the original dance from a dance challenge on the application. The AI judges the similarity of the choreography and selects the 'Best Performer' through voting.
Music Monster is a music-specialized platform company that contributes to music production and distribution based on music IP (intellectual property rights), as well as the revenue of domestic and international creators. The secondary copyright for sound sources provided by Music Monster is a kind of 'Music to Earm.' When users upload videos containing sound sources with secondary copyrights they own to SNS, they can generate revenue proportional to the increase in views.
ToBeMeta, a blockchain-specialized company, is evaluated to have created an opportunity through this business agreement for participants to showcase cover dances and new dances in sync with the sound sources provided by Music Monster on ClubMeta.
ToBeSoft’s ‘AI choreography recognition technology’ can judge and analyze cover dance similarity through the app. Therefore, since sound sources and dances are closely related, the more sound sources available for use on ClubMeta, the greater the user participation can be. The ClubMeta app version 2.0 will be launched soon, and the three companies that signed the agreement are expected to present new paths for sound source and dance copyrights through their business partnership.
