Gyeongnam National University Signs Agreement to Foster Mega Manufacturing AI Industry

Commitment to Cooperation with Assemblyman Choi Hyung-doo and Gyeongnam Province
On the 13th, Gyeongnam National University signed a business agreement with Megazone Cloud, Gyeongnam Technopark, Congressman Choi Hyung-doo, and Gyeongsangnam-do at the Far East Institute for Strategic Studies international conference room in Seoul to foster the ‘Super Large Manufacturing AI Industry.’
Through this agreement, each organization promised to cooperate to promote the super large manufacturing AI industry, develop core technologies, build and operate infrastructure, secure budgets, and carry out projects to strengthen mutual development and exchange.

View original image‘Super Large AI’ is next-generation artificial intelligence that learns from large volumes of data, enabling it to think independently and perform comprehensive reasoning. It can implement specialized tasks such as human-like conversations, literary and artistic creation, and sentiment analysis, which has led many companies to develop and advance super large AI.
Centered on this agreement, Gyeongnam National University plans to apply ‘Super Large AI’ to the manufacturing industry, the main industry of Gyeongsangnam-do, to lead the province’s new growth engine industry. The university will establish and operate a related research center to develop Masanhappo-gu, Changwon, where the university is located, into a ‘Global Innovation Hub for the Super Large Manufacturing AI Industry.’
Additionally, Megazone Cloud, one of the agreement participants, plans to specialize and foster the ‘Super Large AI Industry’ based in Masanhappo-gu to support the development of Gyeongsangnam-do’s new growth engine industry and pursue a strategy to enter the global market thereafter.

Gyeongnam Technopark will jointly promote infrastructure construction, attract related companies, support commercialization, cultivate innovative talent, and develop technologies to lead the ‘Super Large Manufacturing AI Industry’ with Gyeongnam National University. Congressman Choi will work to secure various forms of support at the National Assembly level to establish Masanhappo-gu as a ‘Global Hub for Super Large Manufacturing AI.’
