The survey targets 129 companies with 10 or more employees out of 315 companies in 12 industrial complexes, investigating whether they are recruiting (second half hiring plans, number of hires, hiring period, etc.) and recruitment conditions (job types, qualification requirements, wage types, etc.).
The first phase of the survey, conducted by phone until the 14th, will be followed by direct visits from the 17th to the 31st to companies planning to hire two or more employees, to promote job matching services.
Additionally, based on the survey results, a database of second half hiring plans will be established to arrange suitable jobs for local job seekers.
Mayor Lee Hak-su said, "We will discover hidden jobs in the region until citizens seeking jobs find suitable employment," adding, "We hope this will help both local job seekers and companies by resolving job mismatches."
