Seongnam City Supports Improvement of Rest Facilities for Apartment Security and Cleaning Workers... 5 Million KRW per Location
Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province will provide 110 million KRW to support the improvement of outdated rest facilities for apartment security and cleaning workers in 25 locations across 20 apartment complexes.
On the 12th, Seongnam City announced that this decision was made after reviewing documents, conducting on-site investigations, and holding a review committee meeting for 55 locations in 39 apartment complexes that applied for subsidy support.
The support areas include ▲ establishment of new rest facilities ▲ renovation of existing rest facility structures, ventilation, showers, wallpaper, flooring, etc. ▲ replacement and new purchase of equipment such as air conditioners, sofas, beds, and water purifiers.
Priority support was given to cases where existing rest areas located underground were relocated to the ground level or where new ground-level rest areas were constructed in apartments without rest facilities.
Nine locations, including Botdeulmaeul 4 Complex in Sampyeong-dong, will establish new rest facilities, while 16 locations, including Hyundai Apartments in Eunhaeng-dong, plan to renovate existing rest facilities and purchase equipment.
The subsidy will cover up to 90% of the total project cost per rest facility, with a maximum of 5 million KRW. The remaining costs must be borne by the respective apartment complexes.
