Gwangju Buk-gu Supports Incentives for Individual Tourists Following Group Tourists
Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, has rolled up its sleeves to revitalize the local tourism industry.
On the 11th, Buk-gu announced that it will expand the incentives currently provided to travel agencies attracting group tourists to include individual tourists as well.
This expansion of support aims to actively attract individual tourists and widely promote the excellent tourism resources within the district by encouraging participation in SNS travel reviews, reflecting the trend of increasing small-scale tourists such as families during the summer vacation season.
Accordingly, Buk-gu will provide 10,000 KRW per person for domestic and international tourists traveling in groups of 2 to 5 for day trips, and 20,000 KRW per person for those on extended stays.
Tourists will receive support if they visit representative tourist attractions, restaurants, and accommodations within the district and post travel reviews including photos on SNS platforms such as blogs and YouTube.
Tourists wishing to receive support must submit their travel plans in advance to the Buk-gu Office Sports and Tourism Division via Naver Form or email at least 7 days before the trip, and apply for the incentive within 15 days after the trip using the same method.
