On the 10th, Pohang City announced that Moon Chung-do, chairman of the Pohang Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Lee Sang-geol, chairman of the Gyeongju Chamber of Commerce and Industry, each donated the highest personal limit of hometown love donation funds to each other's regions.

View original imageOn that day, Chairman Moon Chung-do and Chairman Lee Sang-geol visited Pohang and Gyeongju City Halls together and delivered a total of 10 million KRW in hometown love donation funds, 5 million KRW each to Pohang and Gyeongju, supporting the mutual development of the two regions.
Born in Pohang in 1957, Chairman Moon Chung-do currently serves as chairman of the Korea Shipping Association and CEO of Ilsin Shipping. He is also a director of the Pohang Cultural Foundation and chairman of the Gyeongbuk Chamber of Commerce and Industry Council, actively participating in regional development and social contribution activities.
Chairman Lee Sang-geol, who previously served as CEO of Wolseong General Development and Wolseong Landscaping Construction, took office as the 24th chairman of the Gyeongju Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2021, leading efforts to improve and develop local commerce and industry.
Lee Sang-geol, chairman of the Gyeongju Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said, “Since the return gifts provided to donors help revitalize the local economy, which aligns with the vision and direction of the Chamber of Commerce, we will work together to establish this system.”
