A story has been shared about someone who accidentally left the air conditioner on for three weeks while traveling and was charged a management fee of 1.7 million won.
On the 7th, a post was published on an online community about someone who went on a trip without turning off the air conditioner.
The author said, "I went on a trip for three weeks but didn’t turn off the FCU (Fan Coil Unit, a central heating and cooling system installed in the ceiling) air conditioner," and lamented, "I meant to turn on the ventilation system but ended up turning on the entire air conditioner."
They explained that by mistake, they set five places including the living room to 18 degrees Celsius and went on the trip.
The photo shared along with the post showed the management fee statement for June. The management fee was 1,739,230 won, with a total usage of 12,900 kWh recorded.
