Gyeongnam Office of Education Integrity Training, Starting with Music and Unfolding through Stories
On the 6th, the Gyeongnam Office of Education conducted integrity training for senior public officials of grade 4 and above, as well as head office officials and supervisors, at the Gonggam Hall.
According to the provincial Office of Education, Superintendent Park Jong-hoon and Vice Superintendent Park Seong-su, along with other education participants, took part in the training, with staff from the head office, education support offices, and affiliated institutions joining via live broadcast.
The training began with a performance of Daegumsanjo and a medley of Gyeonggi folk songs, followed by a documentary-style performance led by MBC Gyeongnam PD Kim Hyun-ji and lawyer Park Mi-hye, conveying the message of the documentary "Adult Jang Ha."
The program included a talk concert titled "Adult Kim Jang-ha and Integrity in Our Era" and a lecture on "Understanding and Practicing the Code of Conduct for Public Officials."

Superintendent Park stated, "As leaders, we must take the initiative with a leading example so that members can voluntarily dedicate their body and mind to development," adding, "As heads of institutions and departments, please hold the will to create a culture of mutual respect and a horizontal organizational culture."
The provincial Office of Education plans to maintain its record this year after being the only metropolitan and provincial office of education nationwide to achieve a first-grade rating in the comprehensive integrity evaluation conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission last year.

To this end, they have set key focus areas including ▲ improving mutual respect and horizontal organizational culture ▲ fostering a culture of integrity in contracts ▲ creating an environment for reporting corruption and public interest violations and strengthening protection for whistleblowers, aiming to realize fair and transparent education in Gyeongnam.
