Putin's 100 Billion Won 'Luxury Train'... Equipped with Private Gym and Beauty Salon
Russian investigative media reports on train blueprints
Increased use of Putin's trains since Ukraine invasion
The interior of the ultra-luxurious armored train used by Russian President Vladimir Putin as a means of transportation has been revealed, attracting attention. The armored train is said to be equipped with a bathhouse, a private gym, and even a beauty salon.
On the 6th (local time), according to the British Telegraph, the Russian investigative media outlet Dosiye Center published photos and blueprints of the train's interior on its website the day before under the title "Hammam for the President." "Hammam" is a word derived from the Arabic "hamm," meaning "to heat," and generally refers to a bathhouse.

The report states that the train is equipped with various devices such as oxygen respirators, defibrillators, ultrasound therapy machines, and vacuum suction devices. There was also a massage bed. Among them, the car containing beauty equipment reportedly had special orders for soundproofing and shielding functions to prevent eavesdropping.
The cost of this luxurious train is estimated to be at least 6.8 billion rubles (approximately 97.58 billion KRW). The train is said to have been completed in 2017 by the manufacturer Chirkon Service. Especially after the invasion of Ukraine last year, President Putin is known to use the train more frequently, possibly due to concerns about aircraft being shot down.
