Gyeonggi-do Adds 'Nongsanmul Package' and Other Hometown Love Donation Program Thank-You Gifts
Gyeonggi Province has newly selected 8 suppliers for 5 items, including agricultural product bundles, as return gifts for the 'Hometown Love Donation System.'
On the 7th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it recently held the Gyeonggi Province Return Gift Selection Committee and confirmed the addition of 8 suppliers for 5 items, including pears, sweet potatoes, agricultural product bundles, crafts such as moon jars, and experiences like Anseong Namsadang permanent performances and horseback riding.
With the selection of return gift suppliers completed, Gyeonggi Province plans to sign agreements with the suppliers and register the return gifts in the information system. As a result, the number of return gifts and suppliers in the province has increased to 35 and 22, respectively.
The Hometown Love Donation System allows individuals to donate to local governments other than their place of residence. The local governments then use the donation funds to create a Hometown Love Fund, which can be used to support vulnerable groups, youth, and improve residents' welfare. Anyone wishing to donate can apply by visiting the Hometown Love e-um website.

Individuals can donate up to 5 million KRW annually. Additionally, donors can receive return gifts such as local specialties within 30% of the donation amount. Donations of 100,000 KRW or less are fully tax-deductible, and amounts exceeding that receive a 16.5% deduction.
