Freelance Market 'Kmong' Appoints Kim Taeheon as CEO
Founder CEO Park Hyunho Focuses on External Affairs and Board Operations
Kmong, which operates a freelancer marketplace, announced on the 5th that it has appointed Kim Taeheon as the new co-CEO. Through this, Kmong has introduced a dual CEO system, where CEO Kim Taeheon will be responsible for overseeing Kmong's overall business and management, while founder CEO Park Hyunho will focus on external affairs and board operations.
After graduating from the Department of Economics at Seoul National University, CEO Kim Taeheon completed an MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He worked for over 10 years at Boston Consulting Group, providing consulting in various areas such as growth, monetization, organizational structure, and digital transformation.
Since joining Kmong in 2018, CEO Kim has led decision-making across all areas including business, product, finance, and HR. In particular, he spearheaded the launch of Kmong's new business, 'Kmong Enterprise,' as well as improvements in service quality and customer experience.
