Korea Investment & Securities Holds 'Love Sharing Weekend Volunteer Activity' at Hansarang Disabled Infant Home
Korea Investment & Securities, a subsidiary of Korea Financial Group, announced on the 4th that it conducted a 'Love Sharing Weekend Volunteer Activity' on the 1st at Hansarang Disabled Infant Home under the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation located in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do.
The Love Sharing Weekend Volunteer Activity is a social contribution project that Korea Investment & Securities has been carrying out since 2015 to promote mutual growth within the local community. The 'Chambeot Sharing Volunteer Group,' composed of employees, set up an air bounce for recreational games and participated in physical activities together. They made efforts to create joyful memories for the children, who have faced many restrictions on outdoor activities due to the impact of COVID-19 until recently.
Jung Il-moon, CEO of Korea Investment & Securities, said, "Hearing the bright smiles and cheerful laughter of the children makes me happy, as it feels like the warm hearts of our employees have been fully conveyed," adding, "We will continue to pay steady attention so that our children, the hope of the future, can grow up healthy in both body and mind."
Korea Investment & Securities is carrying out social contribution projects for growing children, such as the talent sponsorship project 'Children Who Dream,' which helps children from low-income families realize their dreams, and 'Dream Library,' which remodels and donates libraries in children’s welfare facilities nationwide.
