Mapo-gu Takes Safety Education and Support Measures for Recycling Collectors in Preparation for Heatwave
Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Gang-su) conducted safety education for private recycling collectors in the area on the 4th and provided safety supplies to prepare for the heatwave.
About 100 people attended the training held on the 4th floor of the Mapo-gu Office, including private recycling collectors and elderly welfare collection officers from each neighborhood, receiving traffic accident prevention education based on traffic safety materials from the Mapo Police Station.
In addition, precautions for preventing heat-related illnesses were taught to prepare for the heatwave, and safety supplies such as UV protection hats were provided to the elderly.
