Ulsan Office of Education Introduces Psychological Counseling System for Local Public Officials for the First Time
The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education will operate a psychological counseling (treatment) support system for local government employees for the first time starting this month.
The psychological counseling (treatment) support system was established to promote the psychological stability of general local government employees who are experiencing difficulties due to various stress factors such as conflicts among colleagues and handling civil complaints.
Any general local government employee affiliated with the Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education can use this service.
General local government employees who wish to receive psychological counseling can visit one of the following locations: Cheongsim Psychological Counseling Research Institute in Ok-dong, Nam-gu; My Story in Samsan-dong, Nam-gu; or Mothers Hospital in Daldong, Nam-gu, to receive counseling and treatment.
Individuals can make a reservation by calling the counseling or treatment institution directly and then visit the institution, and the counseling content is strictly confidential.
The counseling can provide assistance with a wide range of psychological issues, including job stress, conflicts within the organization, interpersonal problems, health issues, and family problems.
The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education will pay the counseling fees directly to the counseling institutions and plans to support up to 450,000 KRW per person annually.
